We live on these routes
Shimla, Kinnaur, Spiti, Kangra, Manali — we know which stretch is under repair, which hotel actually has a view, and when Kunzum La opens.

Season planner
The single question we get asked most. Here is what actually works, month by month, from people who drive these roads year-round.
| Destination | Best months | Also good | What to expect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shimla & Manali | Mar–Jun | Sep–NovDec–Feb snow | Clear roads and pleasant days in spring; crisp views and low crowds post-monsoon; snowfall around Kufri, Narkanda and Solang in winter. |
| Spiti Valley | Jun–Sep | Apr–May via Kinnaur | The full Shimla-in / Manali-out circuit needs Kunzum Pass open. The Kinnaur side opens earliest and closes latest. |
| Leh–Ladakh | Jun–Sep | Late May | Manali–Leh and Srinagar–Leh highways are seasonal. Flying into Leh works earlier, but plan two acclimatisation days. |
| Kashmir Valley | Apr–Oct | Dec–Feb for snow | The tulip garden opens for a short window around late March–April. Gulmarg turns into a ski destination in deep winter. |
| Uttarakhand | Mar–Jun | Sep–Nov | Avoid peak monsoon in the hills. Char Dham runs roughly April/May to October/November. |
| Rajasthan | Oct–Mar | Feb for Desert Festival | Summer daytime heat is severe. Winter mornings in Jaisalmer and Mount Abu get genuinely cold. |
| Goa | Oct–Mar | Apr–Jun best value | Peak season means every shack open and top rates. April–June is hot and humid but hotel prices drop sharply. |
| Kerala | Sep–Mar | Jun–Aug for Ayurveda | Monsoon is the traditional Ayurveda treatment season and the hills are at their greenest, with rain most days. |
| Himalayan treks | Mar–Jun | Sep–Nov | Triund and Kheerganga run most of the year; snow treks are a winter speciality. Paragliding at Bir is best in the autumn window. |
From enquiry to departure
No deposit is asked for until you have the full itinerary and the price breakdown in writing.
Dates, how many of you, rough budget and whether you want a relaxed trip or a full one. Two lines on WhatsApp is enough.
We send two or three routes with hotel names, cab type, inclusions and exclusions — so you can compare like for like.
Swap a hotel, add a day, drop a sightseeing stop. Once it reads right, a part payment holds the booking.
Driver details and vouchers before you leave, and one number in Shimla that stays reachable through the trip.
Starting points
Most of our travellers start from one of these three points. Pickups, Volvo transfers and tempo travellers are arranged with the package.
Our story
Aspire Holiday Tours works out of Sunni, Shimla. We started in 2021 planning Himachal trips for friends of friends, and now handle Kashmir, Spiti, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Goa and Kerala for travellers from across India.
What has not changed is how we work. We have driven every route we sell, stayed in the hotels we recommend, and we will tell you when a plan does not fit the season — even if that means selling you a shorter trip.

★★★★★
Our Shimla–Manali honeymoon was handled end to end — hotels, transfers, everything. The snow day was the highlight of the whole trip.
★★★★★
Six of us including grandparents and two kids. The pacing was thought through properly — short driving days, and the kids loved Kufri.
★★★★★
I compared six agencies before booking. Aspire gave the clearest breakdown of what was and wasn't included, and the hotels matched the description.
Before you book

March to June is the most reliable window for Shimla and Manali — clear roads, pleasant days and snow still visible at Rohtang and Solang. September to November gives sharp mountain views with far fewer crowds. December to February is the snow season around Shimla, Kufri, Narkanda and Solang. Spiti Valley is fully open roughly June to September. See the season chart above for every destination.
Call or WhatsApp +91 93171 02269, email aspireholidaytours@gmail.com, or use the enquiry form on this page. We reply Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM IST, and send a free custom quote within about 2 hours based on your dates, group size and budget. No payment is asked for until you have the full itinerary in writing.
The circuit covers five Shakti Peethas: Naina Devi in Bilaspur, Chintpurni in Una, Jwala Ji and Brajeshwari Devi in Kangra, and Chamunda Devi near Dharamshala. Private transport, accommodation and a local guide are included, and the route runs as a 2 to 4 day itinerary depending on whether you start from Chandigarh, Delhi or Shimla.
The Shimla–Kinnaur route into Spiti is usually the first to open, around April or May, and stays open longest. The Manali side via Rohtang and Kunzum Pass typically opens in June and closes with the first heavy snow. Exact dates move every year with the snow line, so confirm with us before booking flights. Rooms and vehicles in Kaza are limited in peak season — book early. Details on the Spiti Valley page.
Cost depends on four things: hotel category, group size, vehicle type and travel season — peak snow weeks and long weekends always cost more than mid-week travel. Because those change with every enquiry, we do not publish fixed rates here. Send your dates and group size and you will get a written quote with inclusions and exclusions listed line by line, so you can compare it against any other agency.
Yes. We arrange pickup from Delhi, Chandigarh Airport, Chandigarh Railway Station and Kalka, plus Volvo and tempo traveller transfers. Most Himachal itineraries can start from any of these points at no extra planning charge — see packages by starting point.
Tourist arrivals in Kashmir have risen sharply in recent years, and Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonmarg are routinely visited by families. We work with local drivers and guides there and check ground conditions before every departure. We would also suggest checking the latest official travel advisories close to your travel dates.
Every itinerary we send is built for your dates, budget, group size and pace — there is no fixed departure list. Because we are based in Shimla, we plan around actual road and weather conditions rather than a template, and we will say so if a route does not suit the season you have chosen.
Yes. We arrange tandem paragliding at Bir Billing with certified pilots, launching from Billing at roughly 2,400 m. Flights usually last 15 to 30 minutes over the Kangra valley below the Dhauladhar range, and no experience is needed. Paragliding near Dharamshala is also available — see the treks and adventure page.
Indian travellers need a government photo ID at hotel check-in, and Inner Line Permits are required for restricted areas such as Nubra, Pangong and parts of Kinnaur. Foreign nationals need a Protected Area Permit for several Ladakh routes. We handle the permit paperwork as part of the package — just send scanned IDs in advance.
Yes. Honeymoon itineraries usually pair Shimla and Manali, or Manali and Kasol, with a candlelight dinner, room decoration and a private cab throughout. Tell us your dates and budget and we will send two or three options to compare rather than a single fixed package.
Cancellation terms depend on the hotels and transport confirmed for your dates, so they are stated in writing on your quote before you pay anything. Roadblocks and weather closures are handled case by case — wherever possible we rework the itinerary instead of cancelling it. Full terms are in our Terms of Service.
